Mark Penner moved to Vancouver. The tracks just sat there on Joel's computer for a long time. After about a year Joel bought a £5 guitar from a charity shop, fixed it up and started recording the guitar tracks. 9 months ago Joel and family moved back to Winnipeg and Joel rented a space where he could record Matthew Lawrence's percussion parts and his own vocals. A fair amount of obsessing on mixing and mastering later and we have this record right here. Video production has started for a music video for The Plan. I hope you give it a listen and enjoy it. If you do, check out Drums and Wires' first album which is available through CD Baby. MUSIC VIDEO FOR BASEMENTMade by POMO Projects VISUALS![]() Thanks to Mezzo Host for their hosting! ![]() |

Drums and Wires are a 4 peice band from Winnipeg Manitoba Canada.
Their music is often compared to Talking Heads, LCD Soundsystem,
King Cobb Steelie and Joy Division. Lyrically minimalist and loop
driven, Drums and Wires attempt to hypnotize their audience with
rhythms, images and wailing |
